What You Need to Know
Why the AFT Exists
The AFT is designed to increase warfighting readiness, reduce injury risk, and enhance the physical performance of the force through a more balanced and operationally relevant fitness standard.
Sex-Neutral Standard
One sex-neutral, age-normed standard requires a total score of 350 with a minimum of 60 points per event. This applies to all combat specialty MOSs.
Sex & Age Normed
Combat enabling specialties maintain sex- and age-normed scoring with a required total score of 300. Check with your cadre for your MOS category.
